The Chairman of the NOC got acquainted with the long-term plans of the modern pentathlon Federation

The leadership of the NOC continues to consider plans for the preparation of federations and associations for Olympic sports for the Asian Games Hangzhou-2022 and the Olympic Games Paris-2024. Today, the chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, got acquainted with the plans of the modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan, headed by Chairman Bahromjon Gaziyev, and responsible persons of the NOC.

 During the conversation, the leadership of the federation presented its plans. According to the information provided, the youth national team is currently conducting international training camps in Kyrgyzstan. After that, the team will take part in several international tournaments. In the future, the team will participate in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, and then at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

 

Experts highly appreciate the capabilities of Sadriddin Kobilzhanov, Alexander Kutyanudis and Samira Abzalova. It was also noted that in the future there is an opportunity to win 2 licenses for this sport for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. In turn, the head of the IOC supported the plans of the federation and expressed readiness to provide assistance from the Committee.
