FAU President Abdusalom Azizov met with representatives of the National Team
As you know, in June, the remaining matches of the group stage within the selection of the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia. The national team of Uzbekistan will play with the teams of Singapore, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Today, before leaving, FAU President Abdusalom Azizov met with representatives of the National Team. The event was also attended by the first deputy chairman of the NOC, first vice-president of FAU Ravshan Irmatov, chairman of the Council of Football Veterans of Uzbekistan Tulyagan Isakov. Abdusalom Azizov emphasized that the upcoming competitions play a very important role and that candidates need to prove that they are worthy of playing in the national team, as well as that they need to prepare diligently for each match.
It was said that the FAU will create all the necessary conditions for achieving results. The leaders of the national team also expressed their opinion about the upcoming games. At the end of the conversation, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, Abdusalom Abdumavlonovich wished good luck to the players.
Tomorrow, the national football team of Uzbekistan will leave for the UAE for the last training camp.
