Para-judoists of Uzbekistan took the second place in the team competition of the Grand Prix
The Grand Prix tournament in para-judo was held in the capital of Azerbaijan, in which valuable rating points of the Tokyo Paralympics were played.
On the first day of the tournament, our para-judoists won 5 medals, and on the second day — 4. In particular, among men Davurkhon Karamatov (-81 kg) and Shirin Sharipov (+100 kg) were awarded gold, and Sulaiman Alayev (-100 kg) and Sharif Khalilov (-100 kg) bronze.
According to the results of the Grand Prix, the national team of Uzbekistan took second place in the team competition among 38 countries with a result of 11 medals (2 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze).
On the first day, our para-judoists Lobar Khurramova (-48 kg), Sevinch Salayeva (-52 kg), Parvina Samandarova (-57 kg), Sherzod Namozov (-60 kg) and Utkir Nigmatov (-66 kg) won silver medals. Another representative of Uzbekistan Uchkun Kuranbayev (-66 kg) became the bronze medalist.
