Today, one of the famous representatives of Uzbek sports, a close partner of the NOC of Uzbekistan, professional photographer Anvar Ilyasov celebrates his birthday.
Anvar Ilyasov was born on May 26, 1964. As a professional photographer, he worked 5 times at the Olympic Games (Sydney-2000, Athens-2004, Beijing-2008, London-2012, Rio-2016), 5 times at the Asian Games (Busan-2002, Doha-2006, Guangzhou-2010, Incheon-2014, Jakarta-2018), at the Youth Olympics of Buenos Aires-2018, at the World Wrestling Championships (Tashkent-2014, Nur-Sultan-2019), boxing (Almaty-2013), judo (Paris-2011), as well as, in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The best moments from the performance of our athletes at major competitions are captured by this photographer. Anvar Ilyasov received the National Award "Golden Feather" ("Oltin kalam") in 2015, winning in the nomination best photographer. In the same year, he won a gold medal at the international competition "Energy of Victories-2015" in Russia. In 2016, he was awarded a special award by FILA (now UWW).
