The deplorable situation in the canteen of the Athletics Federation
The leadership of the NOC continues to visit the sports bases of federations and associations that are preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, visited the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the federation is very depressing and upsetting for a person. One of the biggest drawbacks was observed in the dining room. In particular, the hood in the kitchen is very dirty, and this indicates that there has not been a basic cleaning for a long time. Spoiled tomatoes and meat are stored in the refrigerator, thanks to which, of course, other products can not be consumed. Just think, because eating in such conditions, our athletes who are preparing for the upcoming Olympics can easily pick up infections.
In addition to representatives of the national athletics team, employees and coaches of the Republican School of Higher Sports Skills also eat in this canteen. After studying the condition of the dining room and kitchen, the chairman of the NOC gave strict instructions to the responsible persons of the federation to eliminate the problem as soon as possible, to call a working group from the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station and fully analyze the situation.
Also, in connection with this situation, an emergency meeting was held in the NOC building, which was attended by Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and his deputy, Sherzod Tashmatov, representatives of the RNCSM led by Abdushukur Sadikov. The leadership of the NOC expressed extreme dissatisfaction with such a situation that occurs in the federations and instructed the relevant officials to monitor the sanitary and epidemiological situation at the bases and immediately eliminate the existing problems.
