The Chairman of the NOC wished good luck to our kayakers and canoeists
Today, the national team of Uzbekistan in kayaking and canoeing left for Barnaul (Russia) to participate in the last licensed tournament. This competition will be held simultaneously with the World Cup stage. According to the results of the license tournament, the names of the last holders of permits for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be known. Before leaving for Barnaul, the leaders of the NOC held an online meeting with the coaches of the national team.
The meeting was held on the ZOOM platform and was attended by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and his deputy Sherzod Tashmatov, coaches of the national team Rustam Mirzadierov and Akbar Samejanov. The chairman of the NOC asked about the preparation of the representatives of the national team, their mood before an important start and wished them good luck.
The licensed tournament will be held on May 20-21, and the World Cup on May 21-23. According to the regulations, only those rowers who win the first place have a chance to become holders of the Tokyo 2020 license. The names of our representatives who will take part in the licensed tournament:
