An important start awaits our academic rowers
A licensed rowing competition for the Asian continent will start tomorrow in the capital of Japan. Representatives of Uzbekistan will also take part in this competition, who will compete for licenses of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The competition will last until May 7 and six academic rowers will take part in it on behalf of Uzbekistan. The names of our athletes:
M1x 2000 meter: Mehrozh Mamatkulov
LM2x 2000 meters: Shakhboz Kholmirzayev and Sobir Saforoliyev
LW2x 2000 meter: Luisa Ismoilova and Omadoy Otakuzieva
W1x 2000 meter: Malika Tagmatova
According to the regulations, the rowers who entered the top five in singles, as well as those who won 1-3 places in the doubles direction, will win tickets to the Games in Tokyo.
