On May 6-9, the licensed world-scale Tokyo-2020 wrestling tournament will be held in Sofia (Bulgaria). Our wrestlers who will fight for Tokyo 2020 licenses will also take part in this competition.
In total, 9 Uzbek wrestlers (2 in freestyle wrestling, 1 in Greco-Roman and 6 in women's wrestling) will take to the carpet for the permits of the Games in Tokyo. We remind you that only those athletes who will be able to reach the final of the tournament have a chance to win the licenses of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.We remind you that currently there are 8 licenses in the piggy bank of the Uzbekistan national wrestling team (4 in Greco-Roman and 4 in freestyle wrestling).
