The work on preparation for the Olympic Games is considered
On May 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a presentation on the preparation process for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Extensive conditions have been created for the preparation of our athletes for this prestigious competition, which will be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Highly qualified specialists were involved, hundreds of training sessions were organized. To date, our athletes have won 41 permits for the Summer Olympic Games and 16 permits for the Paralympic Games.
In the presentation, the state of preparation for the Olympic and Paralympic Games was criticized and assessed as unsatisfactory. It was stressed that it is necessary to support the athletes and their team in order to win tickets to the competitions again in May-July. The athletes were given instructions on strengthening the service, their comprehensive encouragement.
Improving the activities of the federations, the task was set together with the qualified sports managers involved to develop separate programs for each sport to improve the physical, medical and psychological condition of the Olympians.
