4 of our wrestlers will fight for the medals of the Turkish starts

The ranking tournament in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's wrestling continues in Istanbul. It is gratifying that in the evening program four Greco-Roman wrestlers of Uzbekistan will take to the carpet for medals of prestigious competitions. Following Islomjon Bakhromov, defending the honor of the country in the weight category up to 63 kg, Mahmud Bakhshilloev (67 kg) and Rustam Assakalov (97 kg) won tickets to the finals.

Bakhromov defeated Dastan Kadyrov from Kyrgyzstan in the semifinals with a score of 9-1. His opponent in the final will be Victor Ciobanu from Moldova.

Assakalov defeated Norwegian Felix Baldauf in the semifinals with a score of 7-1. He will take to the carpet against Arvi Martin Savolainen from Finland and will challenge for the gold medal.

Another of our compatriots, Mahmud Bakhshilloev, defeated Furkan Yildiz from Turkey in the semifinals with a score of 4-3. The Bukhara wrestler will fight Norwegian Morten Thoresen in the final.

Participant of three Olympiads Muminjon Abdullayev will compete for the bronze award in the evening program against Alimzhan Sizdikov from Kazakhstan. A little earlier, he defeated Consta Maeinpai from Finland with a score of 5-1 in a passing match on the way to bronze.
