The grand opening of the Uzbekistan Sambo Championship took place
As we reported earlier, the Uzbek Sambo Championship among adults started today in Tashkent.
The grand opening of the competition took place in the capital's sports complex "Universal". It was attended by Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov, President of the Asian Sambo Union Alam Mullaev, Chairman of the Sambo Association of Uzbekistan Alisher Alimov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Sports of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov and others.
After Oybek Kasimov officially declared the championship of the republic open, the artistic part of the opening ceremony took place. The performance of the People's Artist of Uzbekistan Gulsanam Mamazoitova made a vivid impression on the fans.
After that, the final matches began. As a result, the winners and prize-winners were awarded by officials.
Recall that the competition will last until February 23.
