"Sport for everyone" - Namangan tournament
In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures for the development of the Paralympic movement" dated May 18, 2021, competitions among young people with disabilities under the motto "Sport for all" were organized at the children's and youth sports school No. 1 of the Popsky district of Namangan region.
At it, the youth of Popsky, Turakurgan and Kasansai districts and Namangan city competed in judo, para table tennis, chess and checkers among Paralympians, as well as para athletics.
At the end of the competition, the athletes were noted by name, and great gratitude was expressed to their coaches and parents. The winners and prize-winners, as well as active participants of the tournament were presented with memorable gifts from partner organizations - the district Society of the Disabled, the Department of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the gathering of citizens of the mahalla "Pakhtakor".
In addition, the administration of the sports school for Paralympic disciplines has begun work on involving these young people in physical education and sports in order to achieve high results.
