In the city of Navoi, a hall for judo classes was opened in a solemn atmosphere.The event was attended by Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Abduvakhidov, Minister of Public Education B.Saidov, Khokim of Navoi region N.Tursunov and representatives of the responsible organization.
Special attention is paid to the development and popularization of physical culture and sports among the younger generation in the region, including the formation of appropriate infrastructure. Outdoor outdoor sports grounds are being built and installed, promoting an active lifestyle, and the availability of gyms for everyday activities is ensured. The achievements of the athletes of the region in the national and international arenas deserve special attention.
As it was noted at the opening ceremony, 1100 boys and girls are engaged in judo in the Navoi region, 28 martial artists of this region are part of the National team of the country in this sport.
A modern sports facility was built on the territory of secondary school No. 2 regional centers. The goal is to create additional conditions for practicing this sport, including at the professional level.
