These days, the championship of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in futsal among pupils of children's and youth sports schools of the Republic of Karakalpakstan “Football League of sports schools” is being held in Nukus.
These competitions are held at the children's and youth sports school No. 1. The organizers of the competitions are the Main Department of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the Football Association of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. One of the main goals is the development of a healthy lifestyle and further popularization of mini-football among the younger generation, increasing the social activity of the population of Karakalpakstan.
Following the results of the championship, it is planned to identify and select young talented futsal players, attract them to the youth and youth futsal teams of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Young athletes born in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 take part in the competitions. The winners will be awarded by the Main Department of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Football Association of Karakalpakstan. The championship will last until February 4.
