Domestic handball players at the Asian Championship entered the top eight
The Asian Men's Handball Championship is coming to an end in Saudi Arabia. Our national team finished the tournament in the top eight.
In the match for the seventh place, the national team of Uzbekistan played with handball players from Kuwait. The uncompromising match ended with a two-goal difference, 32:30, in favor of the opponents of our squad. Thus, the domestic team finished the tournament in eighth place.
As for the teams that are fighting for the championship title, the fate of the gold medals will be decided today by the teams of Qatar and Bahrain. And the third place will be contested between the national teams of Iran and Saudi Arabia.
