Domestic masters of leather gloves have once again proved their superiority on the continent
The Asian Boxing Championship among boys and girls under 22 years old has ended in the capital's Universal sports complex. It is gratifying to note that the Uzbek national team that participated in it rose to the highest step of the podium in the team competition. Thus, once again showing and proving that the Uzbek school has no equal on the continent!
In the first half of the day, the final fights among the girls took place. 5 athletes from Uzbekistan made their way to the decisive part of the competition. It is pleasant to note that 4 of them were able to overcome their rivals and won gold medals.
As for the confrontations among young men, 12 of the boxers who made it to the finals, absolutely all won gold awards. Thus, our youth team, which won 16 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals, took first place in the team standings at this prestigious tournament.
