Olympic medalist, world boxing champion Utkirbek Haidarov celebrates his birthday today.
Utkirbek Haidarov was born on January 25, 1974 in the Andijan region. Winner of the gold medal at the 1999 World Championships in Houston (USA). Winner of the 2001 (silver) and 2003 (bronze) World Championships. Bronze medalist of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
For his achievements, he was awarded by the state with the honorary titles "Uzbekistan iftikhori", "Uzbekistonda hizmat kursatgan sportchi" ("Honored Athlete of Uzbekistan"), the orders "Mehnat shukhrati", "El-yurt Khurmati". Currently, he conducts coaching activities.
