The management of the NOC congratulated Elmir Aminov on his anniversary birthday
As we reported earlier, on the eve of one of our veterans who inscribed his name in the history of Uzbek football, Elmar Aminov, celebrated his 90th birthday. Today, in honor of the hero of the day, an event was held in the NOC.
It was attended by the head of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, his
First Deputy, First Vice-President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov, Secretary General of the Committee Oybek Kasimov, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, veterans of football and Uzbek sports headed by Tulagan Isokov.
First, Elmar Alimovich was presented with a gift prepared by the Ministry and gratitude for many years of work. After that, the head of the NOC also sent his sincere wishes.
"We will never forget your contribution to the development of our sport for many years to come. Such devotees of our sport as you are under the close attention of our president and government. Thanks to the experience that you have accumulated over the years, the work of your students, we are achieving some success in this area," R. Shaabdurakhmonov noted.
During the event, many veterans remembered Elmar Aminov's many years of work in the development of sports and congratulated him on his birthday. In turn, Elmar Alimovich expressed his boundless gratitude to the attention provided by the state and to everyone who always supports him.
In 1959, when the Football Federation of Uzbekistan was founded, Elmar Alimovich was appointed head of this organization. During his career, he worked as the head of the Pakhtakor team, then deputy and head of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR on Physical Culture and Sports. He also led the delegation of the USSR national football team at many international tournaments, including the 1966 World Cup in England.
