A double holiday for Andijan youth
Balykchinsky district of Andijan region is famous for its athletes and residents who adhere to a healthy lifestyle. This is the place where Muattar Nabieva, a talented representative of the Uzbek weightlifting school, was born and brought up, who is the record holder of the Olympic Games. Now there are a lot of boys and girls in this area who follow in the footsteps of the famous athlete. The youth, like Muattar, dreams of adequately representing our country on the world arenas. Today, a kind of festive gift was organized for young fans of Uzbek sports.
A weightlifting hall meeting all modern requirements was opened in the district center on a solemn basis. The event was attended by Hakim of Balykchi district Jasurbek Abduraimov, heads of sectors of the district, CEO of Samo company, Senator Akromjon Ganiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan Shakhrillo Mahmudov, Olympic champions Ruslan Nurudinov and Akbar Juraev, as well as representatives of the younger generation of the Andijan region.
During the event, our champions told young athletes about the conditions created by the state and great opportunities, stressed the need for hard work for their effective use and popularization of Uzbek sports, as well as that one of the main goals is to glorify the Motherland on the world sports arena.
This hall, built on the initiative of the district authorities, was provided with the necessary equipment by the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan.Also at the opening of this Center, responsible managers and other representatives were presented with memorable gifts from the Federation.
