These days, the head of AKF is in Uzbekistan on a business visit
A delegation headed by the President of the Asian Karate Federation (AKF), Major General Nasser Abdulrazak Al Razuki, is on a business visit to Uzbekistan.
This afternoon, members of the delegation headed by the guest of Honor visited the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. Here they were met by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov.
Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Oybek Kasimov, First Vice-President of the Asian Karate Federation, Chairman of the Karate Federation of Uzbekistan Alamjon Mullaev and others also took part in the bilateral talks.
The purpose of the visit of the President of AKF to our country is to familiarize with the ongoing work on popularization and development of this discipline in the republic.
At the meeting, the Minister of Tourism and Sports A.Abdukhakimov focused on the issue of attention and care paid in recent years to the popularization of karate in our country, also noted that Uzbek athletes perform quite successfully in the international arena. In particular, he noted that the recent victory of our compatriot Doston Otabolayev at the World Adult Championship in Dubai is the first gold medal in the history of independent Uzbekistan, testifies to the achievement of significant success in the development of karate in our country.
In turn, Mr. Nasser Abdulrazak Al Razuki expressed his admiration that attention is paid to the development of the sports sphere, in particular karate, at the state level in our country, and suggested popularizing the experience of Uzbekistan in other countries of the continent. At the same time, he thanked the Uzbek side for the hospitality and warm welcome.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on further strengthening cooperation between the Asian Karate Federation and Uzbekistan, holding prestigious international sports competitions in our country.
Also during the visit, the guest of honor will visit the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports. In particular, familiarity with the educational institution and the conditions created here for students is considered. In addition, a trilateral memorandum will be signed between the University, the UAE and the Karate Federation of Uzbekistan. In accordance with it, the Asian Karate Federation provides for the provision of tatami and sports equipment for the karate department of UzGosUFK.
During this visit, the President of the Asian Karate Federation, Major General Nasser Abdulrazak Al Razuki is accompanied by the Secretary General of the organization Huang Im Che (Macau) and the First Vice President of AKF Alamjon Mulaev.
