Master class from an Iranian professor
A training seminar for young athletes was organized jointly with the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan and the Samarkand College of the Olympic Reserve. The event was held with the participation of Professor Davoud Ali Manaki of the National Olympic Academy of Iran and students of the Samarkand COR.
The guest of the World Weightlifting Championship, which was held in Tashkent, visited Samarkand after the end of the competition. Having seen the conditions created for local youth, the enthusiasm in the eyes of athletes, Dovud Ali noted that Uzbekistan's weightlifters have a bright future, and expressed confidence that in the near future new Olympic champions like Ruslan Nurudinov and Akbar Juraev will grow among them.
An experienced specialist shared his valuable advice with the young athletes and answered their questions.
