Our delegation took part in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia
The General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will be held in Dubai today. On the eve of the prestigious event of the year, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the organization was held.
This prestigious event was attended by Vice-President of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairman of the NOC Azizjon Kamilov. The agenda of the meeting included an exchange of views on preparations for the upcoming major complex competitions of our continent.
The event was also attended by the current head of the Association of National Olympic Committees Robert Mitchell and Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg, as well as other representatives of the leadership of the Olympic Council of Asia.
It is worth noting that the event was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, the members of the meeting were left with a good impression of its organization. After some time, the General Assembly of the Organization will be launched, in which the most important issues will be discussed to attract as many people as possible to a healthy lifestyle, as well as expanding the geography of those engaged in sports on a regular basis. At today's event, the reports of the Vice-Presidents of the OCA, the Chairmen of the Standing Committees of the OCA will be heard. In particular, representatives of the Organizing Committee "Tashkent-2025" will make a report on the organization of the upcoming important sports events in Uzbekistan in 2025 of the 4th Asian Youth Games - Tashkent—2025. During the meeting, the date and venue of the next General Assembly will be determined.
