These days Almaty is hosting the Asian Karate Championship of CSKA. As part of the competition, the conference of the Asian Karate Federation began its work. The event is attended by the President of the World Karate Federation Antonio Espinosa, as well as the first Vice-president of the Asian Karate Federation Alam Mullaev.
The issue of determining the host country of the next continental championship was considered on the agenda. The results state that Tashkent will host the Asian Championship in 2022 in all age categories. It is worth noting that the previous candidates for the CHA could not take part in the competition due to the epidemiological situation in their states.
According to the original plan, the continental championship should precede the Asian Games. This, in turn, serves as a kind of preparation before important starts for our karate players. Recall that Tashkent hosted the Asian Championship among Adults in July 2019.
