The fruitful work carried out by the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan continues to provide comprehensive support and care for our dedicated workers who have made a significant contribution to the development of the country's sports. Today, the Council held an event at which 15 sports figures were awarded badges “Veteran of sports of Uzbekistan”.
The event was attended by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Sports of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov and a group of veterans. First, Bahodir Mahsitov spoke about the attention and care provided by the President, as well as plans for the future. After that, Vice-President of the United World of Wrestling, Professor Akhrol Ruziev, mentor with rich coaching experience in wrestling Kamil Fatkulin, Olympic water polo champion Erkin Shagaev, as well as 12 dedicated representatives of Uzbek sports were awarded badges “Veteran of sports of Uzbekistan”.
After that, the head of the NOC made a speech and wished our veterans all the best in their professional activities.

In the new Uzbekistan under construction, the President pays great attention to all spheres, including sports. With your many years of experience, Uzbek sport is recognized all over the world.
