Doston Yakubov won 2 gold and 1 silver medals at the World Cup!
Our national team won the first medal at the Weightlifting World Cup in Tashkent. Polvonimiz Doston Yakubov, who participated in the weight category of -67 kg, became the hero of the day.
In the exercise of lifting, Yakubov won a silver medal with 144 kg. In the exercise of lifting the dumbbell, our compatriot competed with the Colombian Francesco Moskera for the gold medal, and in the end he triumphed over the two struggles. This was the first medal for our national team at the World Cup in our country. In this category of weight, Adhamjon Ergashev won a small bronze medal with 174 kg in a swing-lifting exercise.
