Our young judoists also finished the continental championship in the first place
The Asia-Oceania Championship among adolescents and young people in judo, which passed in the Lebanese capital Beirut City mezbonly, came even more lucky than expected for our compatriots.
Our teenagers took the first place in the overall ranking with 9 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals. Our young people were also the first on the continent after two days of uncompromising competitions. Our youth team occupied the first place among 15 countries with 7 Gold, 2 silver, 6 bronze and 15 medals. For four days 16 marotaba national anthem of Uzbekistan was played in Beirut. Such a result has not yet been observed in the history of judo in our country.
Kazakhstan won the second place with 3 Gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals, while the South Korean national team ended up with 2 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals in the top three.
The National Olympiad of Uzbekistan with this success will congratulate the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, our young athletes and their parents.
