The Women's World Cup is postponed to next year
The International Boxing Association (AIBA) is postponing the women's World Boxing Championship, which was supposed to take place next month. The strongest female boxers were preparing for the upcoming world championship, which was scheduled for December in Turkey. Now this prestigious tournament is postponed to next year.
The reason is called the next wave of the coronavirus pandemic around the world. It was announced that the International Organization is negotiating on this issue with the National Federation of Turkey.
Recall that the city of Istanbul was supposed to host the women's World Championship from December 6 to December 19. Under the new agreement, the deadline is postponed to March next year.
