Congratulations to Gulomjon Abdullayev and Aram Vardanyan!
Today two of our famous wrestlers Gulomjon Abdullayev and Aram Vardanyan celebrate their birthday.
Gulomjon Ozodovich Abdullayev was born on November 11, 1998 in the Khorezm region. Our experienced freestyle wrestler achieved the greatest success in the international arena in 2016. At the age of 18, he took part in the World Championship among athletes in the under-20 age category, where he won a bronze medal. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, he adequately defended the honor of our country in the weight category up to 57 kg. He was awarded the Shukhrat Medal for his achievements.
Aram Vardanyan was born on November 11, 1995 in Yerevan. Winner and medalist of the World championships in Greco-Roman wrestling among juniors and youth, a number of international competitions, two-time bronze medalist of the Asian championship. In 2019, at the World Championships in the Kazakh city of Nur-Sultan, he won a silver award in the weight category up to 72 kg.
