The strategy of the Kayaking and Canoeing Federation, as well as the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan, has been revised
The signing by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the resolution "On the comprehensive preparation of athletes of Uzbekistan for the XXXIII Summer Olympic and XVII Paralympic Games held in Paris (France) in 2024" further increases the responsibility of officials of all Federations and Associations for preparing for the upcoming Olympics. Training plans were discussed again today with the Rowing&Canoe Federation of Uzbekistan and the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan.
First there was a meeting with officials of the Kayaking and Canoeing Federation. It was attended by the head of the NOC Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Avaz Karimov, Deputy Chairman of the NOC Sherzod Tashmatov, the general sponsor of the Federation - representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Republican School of Higher Sportsmanship in Water Sports, Federation officials headed by Vyacheslav Diedrich, coaching staff. It is worth noting that the meeting was held in a critical spirit, and although the preparation strategy was discussed repeatedly, harsh comments were made about the insufficiently elaborated plan of the coaches.
In turn, representatives of the Federation reported that they plan to win 11 permits for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, and in the future the issue of cooperation in this direction with France and a number of other countries is being considered.
In the afternoon, the strategy of training in wrestling was discussed. It was attended by the director of the Republican School of Higher Sports Skills in martial Arts Bahodir Mamatnazarov, the Secretary General of the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Mamadaliyev and the coaching staff of the national team.
More importantly, the Association plans to receive permits for the 2024 Olympics in Paris without legionnaires. It was also noted for the first time that winning a license in women's wrestling is one of the priorities facing the Association.
During the conversation, proposals were discussed for further popularization of this sport among young people, improving the skills of our martial artists by organizing international competitions with a large prize fund in Tashkent next year.
