It was attended by Chairman of the NOC Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, Secretary General of the Committee Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairman of the NOC Sherzod Tashmatov and representatives of the Winter Sports Association of Uzbekistan.
Austrian Walter Kirnich, who is a guest at the NOC, has been engaged in winter sports for many years, in particular, the construction of ice rinks, and is the CEO of the well-known company "Solcav ltd".
During the meeting, the guest told the management of the NOC about the opportunities and new projects of the company headed by him for their implementation in Uzbekistan. In turn, the head of the NOC expressed gratitude for such a proposal.
“We are grateful to you for presenting interesting proposals and projects. In recent years, our Government and the President have been paying special attention to the development of winter sports. A striking example is the Humo Arena Ice Palace, the Amirsoy ski Complex. At the same time, interest in winter sports in our regions has increased even more, and work has begun on the implementation of similar projects in remote regions. We will definitely study your proposal in detail with our Association and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports”" Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov said.
At the end of the meeting, the guest was thanked for the suggestions and the visit, and was presented with a memorable gift from our Committee.
