The National Olympic Committee has sent warm wishes to compatriots with disabilities

Today, December 3 is widely celebrated all over the world – the International Day of People with Disabilities. This date is celebrated annually in our country.

Thanks to the attention and care provided by the President, as in all spheres, to various segments of the population, including our compatriots with disabilities, all the best conditions are being created.

In particular, thanks to the conditions and opportunities created for them for sports, we will get to know new heroes of the New Uzbekistan. At the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, our delegation took the 16th place in the team competition with 8 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals.

The result achieved by our paraathletes, embodying such qualities as strong will, courage and bravery, was worthily recognized by the head of our state. It is worth noting that athletes and coaches were awarded high state awards.

Taking this opportunity, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulates the leadership of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the team, athletes and coaches on today's date. He wishes them loud and bright victories in the upcoming Olympic cycle, so that there will be many participants and winners at the 2024 Paralympics like never before.
