Visit of the head of the NOC to the Republican College of the Olympic Reserve
With the support of the Government, the construction of a new building and a sports hall of the Handball Federation of Uzbekistan at the Republican College of the Olympic Reserve is being completed. Today, the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov visited this educational institution and got acquainted with the construction of a new facility.
During the visit, the head of the NOC was accompanied by representatives of the Handball Federation of Uzbekistan and RKOR. First, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov got acquainted with the construction project. After that, he inspected the facility and talked to officials about its activities.
It is worth noting that our handball players show high results in the international arena, adequately defend the colors of the National Flag at the largest tournaments of the world scale. In a few days, the women's team will represent our country at the World Cup in Spain. This gym with modern facilities will serve as the main base for national teams of different ages.
In his speech, the Chairman of the NOC noted that this building will serve to bring the development of Uzbek sports, in particular handball, to a new level. And in the future, using the favorable conditions created in good faith, it will be necessary to fulfill such grandiose tasks as getting a ticket to the Olympic Games.
