Madiyar Saidrakhimov won the bronze medal
At the World Boxing Championship ending in Belgrade, our compatriot Madiyar Said Rakhimov won a bronze medal.
Uzbek leather glove master, competing in the weight category up to 92 kg in the semifinals, played against Cuban Julio La Cruz. Unfortunately, in the match against the current Olympic champion, our athlete lacked a little experience, and he finished the competition on the third step of the podium.
Thus, a young boxer already becomes a prize-winner at the debut championship of the planet for him. We wish Madiyar Said Rakhimov good luck and victories in the upcoming prestigious competitions.
