The designer from Uzbekistan became the winner of the exhibition, initiated by the organizing committee of Hangzhou-2022
At the invitation of the organizing committee of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, which will be held next year, designers from Uzbekistan took part in the Qi Pao International exhibition. It is noteworthy that our compatriot, who spoke at this event with his projects, took the honorable first place.
The exhibition was attended by designers from countries invited by the organizing committee. The event was held at the Silk Museum in Hangzhou, where the clothes that were shown were made from this raw material. It is important to note that the clothes made according to the drawings of the Uzbek designer, the representative of the Association of Designers "Osiye Ramzi" Umida Muminova, received high recognition from the officials of the organizing committee.
This work is decorated with Uzbek national motifs. According to the regulations, each participant presented his samples to the jury in 2 sets. The International Qi Pao Exhibition has been held since 2017, and it is gratifying to note that the geography of its participants is noticeably increasing.
At the award ceremony, the prize of our compatriot was received by the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Vladimir Norov. It is worth noting that this exhibition covers the works of representatives of not only the countries located at the intersection of the Great Silk Road, but also unites the whole world to popularize clothes made of silk fabrics and the culture associated with it.
