Preparation for complex competitions is the main issue on the agenda
The adoption by our country of major international competitions in the coming years, their organization at a high level, the successful participation of our athletes in large—scale tournaments is a goal that is necessary for the formation of the image of the new Uzbekistan before the world community. Obviously, this requires a lot of preparation. To this end, under the leadership of the head of the NOC, Rustam Shaabdurakhmonov, meetings are held to monitor the implementation of upcoming tasks, create maximum amenities for National teams. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the NOC Sherzod Tashmatov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Committee Alisher Karimov, Chief of Staff of the Chairman of the NOC Mirazam Mirakhmedov and responsible persons of the Organization.
Based on the results of the meetings held with our Federations to prepare for the upcoming games in Hangzhou-2022 and Paris-2024, the main topics are determining the main contingent of national teams, careful development of domestic and foreign training camps, conducting transparent and effective selection work. It is worth noting that with the support of the Head of our State, all conditions are being created for National teams. In this process, the NOC acts as a link between our Government and the Federations.
A special place at the meeting is occupied by the issue of preparation for the Asian Youth Games “Tashkent-2025”. The head of the NOC noted the need to establish the activities of the Tashkent-2025 directorate as soon as possible, the formation of its working group, and the preparation of national teams. In conclusion, Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov gave appropriate instructions to the responsible persons on the upcoming tasks.
