Good news for Uzbek boxing fans
Our leather glove masters, who have achieved great success on the world sports arena in amateur boxing and are currently participating in professional fights, are preparing for confrontations this month. There is no doubt that the month of December will be unforgettable for Uzbek boxing fans.
First, on December 11, Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Bahodir Jalolov will hold his next heavyweight bout. In the near future, it will be officially announced who will be the opponent of our representative in this battle at the Coca Cola Arena in the UAE.
It is on this day that another boxing evening with the participation of Shokhzhakhon Ergashev will take place in Tashkent. In his central fight, Ergashev will fight Sibusiso Dlomo from South Africa, several more of our representatives will hold rating matches.
Also, another fight of the month will take place on December 17 at the Renaissance Hall complex in the capital. On this day, Israil Madrimov will enter the ring in the Central Fight against Michel Sora from Ivory Coast. Both boxers occupy 1st and 2nd places in the WBA ranking in their weight category, respectively. The winner of this boxing night gets the opportunity to climb into the ring for the title of champion of this direction. Also this evening, such eminent masters of leather gloves as Shahram Giyasov, Hasanboy Dusmatov, Dilshod Ruzmetov, Bektemir Melikuziev, Ikboljon Holdorov, Elnur Abduraimov will hold their fights. We hope that these events, organized with the direct support of our Government together with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan and other responsible organizations, will be another important step towards promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.
