Sofia Burkhanova, the winner of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, celebrates her birthday today.

Sofia Burkhanova was born in 1989. Para is a track and field athlete who won a silver medal in the shot put at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. At the 2019 World Cup in the UAE, she took second place. This year, the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played in her honor at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. For these results, the athlete was awarded the honorary titles "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "Uzbekistan Iftikhori".
