At the international tournament in Namangan, Sherzod Tashmatov met with foreign experts
Currently, the Central Asian Volleyball Championship among girls under 19 is being held in Namangan. Deputy Chairman of the NOC Sherzod Tashmatov discussed a number of issues with the guest of the competition - representatives of the Confederation of our region headed by Mohammed Latif.
The Deputy Chairman of the NOC at a meeting with the leadership of the Central Asian Volleyball Confederation drew attention to important areas for the further development of this sport in our country. In turn, Mohammad Latif emphasized that Uzbek volleyball has been going through a new stage of development in recent years, teams of different age categories have grown, and gave a positive assessment of the work carried out in this direction. The guest also noted that he would jointly discuss plans to attract international specialists and develop volleyball in our country, and also give the necessary recommendations.
It should be noted that the Asian Championship among girls under 17 will be held in Tashkent next June. During the conversation, Sherzod Rikhsibaevich shared with the guest his thoughts on holding this tournament at a high level, its organizational issues.
