The leadership of the MMA Federation of Tajikistan visited the NOC
The leadership of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan has received the leadership of the Mixed Martial Arts Federation (MMA) of Tajikistan. Issues such as the establishment and development of consistent ties between the two sides, the organization of joint meetings and competitions, and the exchange of experience were discussed at the meeting.
On the part of Uzbekistan, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of the NOC Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Avaz Karimov, Deputy Chairmen of the Committee Azizjon Kamilov and Sherzod Tashmatov, the delegation of guests included the head of the MMA Federation of Tajikistan Davron Juraev and his deputy Bakhtiyor Khodjaev.
“We know that there are strong fighters in Tajikistan. Cooperation with you is very important for us. If we study the proposals on this issue during our conversation. We hope that the organization of joint meetings and competitions will further strengthen our ties," Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov said.
After that, the officials continued discussing the plans in the official part of the meeting.
“We are grateful for the strengthening of cooperation between neighboring and fraternal peoples. Our State supports the initiatives we have put forward. It is expected that the sport of mixed martial arts will be recognized by the International Olympic Committee. This is a huge reality. After that, we can expect further development of this sport, an increase in its audience. We hope to establish mutual cooperation and continue working on the further development of this sport in our state”" Sherzod Tashmatov said.
In turn, Davron Juraev expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the initiatives put forward at the meeting, the establishment and strengthening of cooperation.
During the meeting, the issues of organizing a friendly match between the two national teams and competitions within its framework, exchange of experience with coaches, exchange of experience of recent achievements were discussed in detail.
At the end of the conversation, the guests were presented with memorable gifts of the NOC.
