After a 9-year break, the Uzbek judoka became the leader of the world ranking
The International Judo Federation has published an updated rating of athletes. What is important for us, in the weight category -90 kg, our compatriot Davlet Babanov rose to the first place.
This year was a success for Babonov. Silver at the World Championships and bronze at the Olympic Games created a great foundation for him to become a leader in his weight. It should be noted that the last famous judoka, Rishod Sobirov, took first place in the -60 kg weight category before the 2012 Olympics in London. More detailed:
