Strong selection is the key to victory
The Chairman of the NOC, Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, held another online meeting with the responsible persons of the Federation and the Association, dedicated to discussing new plans. It was attended by IOC Secretary General Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Sherzod Tashmatov, as well as responsible persons of the Federation.
Currently, events are being held with federations and associations dedicated to the report on the Tokyo 2020 cycle, the Asia Strategy in Hangzhou 2022 and the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. The head of the NOC instructed to prepare well for these meetings together with the schools of higher sports skills, the coaching staff of the national team, to clearly explain the plans, to improve the qualifications of coaches.
"Our esteemed President supports us in every possible way. We have to respond to this accordingly with the number of vouchers and medals. The Tokyo Olympics have become a good school for many of us. From here we draw the appropriate conclusions and go to higher goals in the new cycle. During our meetings, we can see enough problems with breeding," the head of the NOC said.
At the last online event, the necessary instructions were given to attract experienced coaches from abroad to improve the skills of our athletes, in-depth analysis of the plans of the ongoing domestic and foreign training camps, further acceleration of work with regional departments of federations and strengthening of selection work.
