The best heroes competed in Ferghana
468 athletes from all over Uzbekistan, as well as Russia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in this competition.
In the multifunctional sports complex "Samo" in the city of Fergana, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Khokimiyat of the Fergana region, the National Olympic Committee, the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, the National Paralympic Committee, the Council of Veterans of Sports Organizations of Uzbekistan and a number of sports federations of the country, an open international tournament was organized in memory of the propagandist of the national Uzbek Games, the famous hero Tulanboy Kurbanov. Competitions were held in kettlebell lifting and games of heroes.
The opening ceremony was attended by 76 heroes of the older generation and 152 veterans of sports of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by Deputy Khokim of Ferghana, head of the Department of Tourism and Sports of the region Khurshid Akhmedov, Chairman of the Association of Ethnosport of Uzbekistan Oybek Norinbayev, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Sports Organizations of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov and others. 35 wrestlers who performed as part of the heroes and in groups of tightrope walkers of the Republic were awarded with badges "Veteran of sports of Uzbekistan".
The international tournament was organized in 3 groups. Participants of the games of heroes and kettlebell lifting lifted weights and cars, moved them, competitions in javelin throwing and archery, as well as kettlebell lifting were organized among a group of tightrope walkers of Uzbekistan.
Dilmurod Kurbanov from Surkhandarya region, who was able to pull a 17-ton MAN truck over a distance of 15 meters, deserved special praise from the fans.
The international tournament was held in 8 directions, the winners were awarded with medals, diplomas and gifts.
