Our young judoists won two medals at the World Championships
The World Youth Judo Championship is coming to an end in Italy. The national team of Uzbekistan in the individual direction won 1 silver and 1 bronze.
Our judoka Sukhrob Radjabov (-100 kg) entered the tatami in the final against Ilya Sulamanidze from Georgia. Unfortunately, Radzhabov lost to his opponent and was awarded silver. Another representative of Uzbekistan Utkirbek Utarbayev (-100 kg) defeated Killian Kappelmeyer from Germany in the fight for bronze and took third place. Shokhrukh Mamarasulov (+100 kg), who also went to the tatami for bronze, lost to his opponent.
Thus, the national team of Uzbekistan in the individual direction of the World Championship won 1 silver and 1 bronze. Performances in the team-mixed direction will begin tomorrow. Our team will start its participation against the German national team.
