Four of our judoists will take to the tatami today
The World Youth Judo Championship continues in Italy. Competitions among judoists in the middleweight category will be held today.
According to the regulations, athletes in three weight categories will take to the tatami. Within the framework of this day, 4 athletes will perform on behalf of Uzbekistan:
-73 kg: Zhaikhunbek Nazarov - Kantemir Khazmetov (Russia)
-57 kg: Shukurjon Aminova - Ksenia Lagitskaya (Russia)
-63 kg: Farangniz Khozhieva - Carolina Delgado (Cape Verde)
-63 kg: Farangniz Rejepova - Akulina Chaeb (Libya)
On the first day of the championship among our athletes, Kamoliddin Bakhtiyarov (-60 kg) missed the chance to compete for bronze, and Abdulbosit Abdusalimov (-66 kg) took seventh place. Also, the girls of our national team have completed their participation in the initial stages. We wish good luck to the Uzbek judoka who will take to the tatami today.
