Uzbek weightlifters won a bronze medal at the World Cup
Uzbekistan's national weightlifting team won its first medal at the World Junior Championships in Saudi Arabia. The winner was Khusinboy Matrasulov.
In the snatch exercise, Matrasulov (-61 kg) showed a result of 119 kg and took third place. In the push, he managed to lift 133 kg and gained 252 kg in total. Unfortunately, the rest of the results were not enough to take prizes.
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan wishes good luck to the rest of our weightlifters who take part in the World Cup.
