Our concurists took part in the final of the "Cup of Nations"
As we reported earlier, the Uzbekistan equestrian team successfully participated in all the qualifying stages of the "Cup of Nations" this year and reached the final of this prestigious competition.
The decisive stage was held on October 1-3 in Barcelona and the best teams from Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Spain, France, Canada, Brazil, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, Sweden, the USA, Norway, Switzerland took part in it.
The honor of Uzbekistan in this competition was defended by Bekzod Kurbanov, Azam Talibbayev, Umid Kamilov and Bahromjon Gaziev. Our athletes performed well in the final and tried to make the most of their chances. Unfortunately, this time our riders failed to win medals. Despite this, we are proud of the athletes. Due to the pandemic that has been observed all over the world, a rather difficult situation has developed. We are glad that our team managed to overcome all difficulties, reach the finals and gain experience. The victory was won by representatives of the Netherlands.
We will not give up, our athletes will work hard on themselves and improve their talents. This is not the last tournament. We hope that in the future our athletes will take part in major international competitions, show good results and give our country a lot of medals.
