The doors to the World Cup are definitely open now
Uzbekistan women's national handball team has successfully completed its performance at the Asian Championship. It was here that our representatives won a ticket to the World Cup.
In the match for the 5th place, our girls took the field against rivals from Hong Kong. A tense and uncompromising match ended with the victory of our compatriots with a score of 28:25.
Earlier, our team, which defeated Jordan and entered the top six, was supposed to get a ticket to the World Cup. However, after the International Handball Federation reduced the quota allocated for this competition to five, we had to win the championship once again on Spanish fields. It is worth noting that our girls in the group stage missed a chance for girls from Hong Kong.
