World Car-Free Day is widely celebrated in Uzbekistan

September 22 is recognized worldwide as a day without a car, all people try to do their work on a bicycle, roller skates, scooters or other similar devices as often as possible. Including in Uzbekistan, following this initiative put forward all over the world, a number of mass events are being held. In particular, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov took a great initiative to widely promote this day for everyone in our country. Several officials and managers on this day go to work by bicycle or on foot, abandoning their official cars.

The events held in the capital did not end there. A bike parade dedicated to this date will be organized today at 20: 00 at the intersection of Makhtumkuli and Mirzo Ulugbek streets to the New Uzbekistan Park.

Taking this opportunity, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan asks all our compatriots to take an active part in the projects carried out today.
