Today, the chairman of the Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan Mukhtorkhon Tashkhodjayev celebrates his birthday.
Mukhtorkhon Taskhodjaev was born on September 21, 1983. He graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics, where after graduation he worked in various positions. Since August 2019, he has been heading the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan. Under the leadership of Mukhtorkhon Maksudovich, the Paralympic movement in the country began to develop noticeably and rise to a new level. During his leadership, the delegation of Uzbekistan at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics won 8 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze, taking 16th place in the team competition. For his services in training and motivating people with disabilities and success at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, he was awarded the honorary title "Uzbekistan Republic of Khizmat Kursatgan sport ustozy".
