Our judoists became champions of the CIS Games in the team program
The next day of the first CIS Games in Kazan was left behind. What is important, this day was remembered by us with an amazing victory of our judoists. According to the regulations, in the program of this day, our judoists fought for victory in the team competition.
Our representatives started the competition right from the semifinals. At this stage, they were opposed by serious rivals-the host wrestlers. It is gratifying that in this pair our compatriots won with a score of 5: 2 and won a ticket to the final. In the match for the gold medals, the Azerbaijani national team lost with a score of 5: 3.
Thus, our judoists with their victories in the team competition provided our delegation with the 22nd gold. We also have 29 silver and 30 bronze medals on our account.
